Emirati Hotel Managers Accuse Israelis Of Stealing ‘All They Can Carry’ From Dubai Hotels

73

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Thousands of Israeli tourists have descended on Dubai in the month since commercial flights started between Israel and the UAE. Many were trying to escape the strict lockdown rules in Israel, others were genuinely interested in discovered a new and hitherto unknown culture. Unfortunately there were some tourists intent on stealing items from their hotel rooms, leading to complaints by Emirati hotel managers according to a Ynet report.

The report quoted the owner of the hotel overlooking the world’s tallest structure in Dubai who recounted in detail thefts made by some of the Israeli tourists who resided in his hotel. “We host hundreds of tourists from all countries of the world, some of them create problems, but we have not seen items stolen before”, the manager said.

He added that after checking out from the hotel it was found that their suitcases contained kettles, coffee and tea bags, hangers, towels, espresso machines and even light bulbs.

Consequently, a well-known anti-Israel Qatari presenter created a video depicting the thefts, claiming that a number of Emirati hotel owners had already contacted him detailing the thefts they managed to catch.

In the video, Abd Al-Aziz Khazraj Al-Ansari warns Emiratis saying: “They should know that normalization with Israel means having to give up room objects for now, and maybe land later on”. The video soon went viral on social media as people expressed their shock over the news.

The report goes on to describe different instances in which hotel managers noticed missing objects in rooms upon check out, saying their requests to examine the luggage of the Israeli guests were often met with shouting before they returned the objects and apologized.

“I have been visiting the UAE for many years and doing business there,” stated an Israeli businessman. “Last month I arrived at the hotel I was staying in and was terrified when I saw in the hotel lobby, Israelis are being searched for stolen items from the rooms.”

The Tourism Department in Dubai has denied these allegations and says that it has not had any complaints yet from hotels about Israelis stealing items.

Last September, the UAE joined by Bahrain signed a normalization agreement with Israel reached through the assistance of US President Donald Trump, celebrating the Abraham Accords as a significant breakthrough in achieving Middle East peace.

I was waiting for such a thing to happen (hoping it wouldn’t..)

With all the fanfare, Dubai is not a place for us. One mistake and the consequences can be dire.

Okay – Lets blame the UAE that they are anti-semites targeting Jews.
Don’t go there to steal stuff. Would you like it if people stole from you?
Never blame us Jews we can never do anything wrong.

You cant be a shmuck, do whatever you want, and then yell anti semitism, I dont know what happened here, but this theme of always being the victim when you aren’t, is getting very old quickly.

Unfortunately, such criminal elements exist, even among some people who claim to be Jews. The hotel owners should gather evidence against egregious offenders, and hold them fully accountable.

Justice in the UAE is not the joke it is in places like NYC. If some of these crooks, who are blackening the name of the Jewish people, get the book thrown at them, the message will go out loud and clear that they and their ilk should stay far away, and repent from their evil ways.

Shame on those evil people, cease and desist immediately, lest you face harsh Arabian justice (which is no luxury hotel stay, believe me).

Kind of gross that people are stealing. I hope it’s not the religious ones.

That didn’t last long at all. I always knew there will come a day the Emeriti’s will regret the love affair. I didn’t think it would happen so fast.

The same thing transpired years ago when Jordan first established diplomatic relations with Israel.

There is a reason that Pesach Hotels are charging 3 times the going rate. Every upscale Hotel knows this (and other damages)

This is nothing new. It is known all over the world – wherever Jews have been.
What I don’t understand, is that these people just spent a small fortune going to & staying in UAE, thousands of $ / shekel. They can afford to buy any of these things – and get them delivered to their house without schlepping it. If they wanted a souvenir, they could buy something at the local shuk. It has become a compulsion to acquire something from where they stayed. It is crazy, but it is basic theft.

Basically, these people feel that if they are spending so much on a luxury vacation at a fancy hotel, they are entitled to some freebies. For some, it’s the pen and notepad on the desk. Maybe, the coffee and tea packets. Body soap and shampoos. Others need more substantial items. Towels, bathrobes,… the sky’s the limit! It’s a mentality! Looking for Metzias wherever and whenever. Trying to get the most for their money. Otherwise, they feel ripped off. They tell themselves that the hotel is making so much on them anyway, so they deserve a little extra bonus.

Chill! All these are penny if not dollar items and that is why there is a security hold on the card. I am not sure what the policy is in UAE, but here in any upscale hotel, when you check-out, they will inspect your room and charge for any missing items.

Light bulbs?? Towels?? Hangers?? those cost about thirty to seventy cents a piece, I don’t think they give heavy turkish towels… $5 jugs for hot water???

I wouldn’t be surprised if this is either true or overblown…

In any case, charge them the $100 security fee for missing items and move on.

Let’s not forget that the Muslim Arab street is rife with vicious murderous genocidal Jew hatred . Just because governments have normalized it does not mean that the average Arab Muslim will drop their Jew hatred. See this in its context. But, on the other hand, Israelis are know to be horrible tourists.

Must be a slow news day. No word on 350,000 US DEAD from covid, vaccine shortage, Nashville bombing, GOP overriding Trump’s Defense Bill VETO, Trump demanding GA GOP Governor resign, NYC vax investigation of ‘clinic’. Just Yidden swiping Araveen towels!

Whatever happened here, I’m sure it was not real Jews who stole anything. It was probably atheistic Zionists who, unfortunately, call themselves Jews due to their religion at birth.
