6

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — The last two weeks have seen almost daily protests taking place around Israel over the death of Ahuvia Sandak, the 17-year-old settler who was killed when police rammed into the car he was travelling in. Protesters are demanding a government investigation committee to probe the incident, claiming that police intentionally rammed into the car and caused the death of Sandak. They also demand closing the police department involved in the incident and placing on trial the policemen responsible for the ramming.

On the day of the event, December 21, there were mass protests around Israel at central junctions as well as near the Central Police Headquarters in Jerusalem. During the ensuing weeks demonstrations took place in Ariel, Netanya, Jerusalem, Kiryat Arba, Ashkelon, Tzfat and Tel Aviv. One demonstration took place on Dec. 29 near the Israeli embassy in New York. Some of the demonstrations have included violence between police and demonstrators and  have led to tens of arrests. Police also used water cannon almost daily to disperse protesters. Demonstrators have claimed excessive violence from police, but they also defaced police vans and tried to set a police installation on fire. Demonstrators also targeted Arab cars driving near the sites of the protests, causing damage to a number of them.

A girl was arrested at one of the demonstrations for calling a policeman “tiny”

These ruthless savages must be stopped at all costs, the settlers thought that the viciousness will stop by the hareidim. Well, here you go, a nice Jewish kid is killed just like that. May he rest in peace

What are the facts, is this a case of resisting arrest? What were the options of the police and how do we go about correcting the mistakes and how can we mourn properly.

Why don’t the chareidim and settlers overthrow the secular anti religious Government. I would advise the protesters to focus on attacking Arab cars instead of the police. This will get the Arabs fighting with the police as well. Use tactics. It looks good seeing chareidi youth smashing the arab cars. They have to copy Tischler’s tactics in Boro Park.
