Speaking with John Berman on CNN’s New Day program, Kahn said that due to his father’s experience “I was able to put myself in their position…..This [landing in a foreign country] is going to be a frightening experience … But it has the potential to be an excellent experience.”
Kahn added that his crew on learning that they would be evacuating Afghan refugees bought from their own money diapers, wipes, coloring books and balloons for the many young refugees on board.

Emma Lazarus was also a Jewish refugee. Her immortal words are on the STATUE OF LIBERTY. Some of us have forgotten their meaning and hate refugees and exiles. Moshiach will come when we all remember their meaning…
Thank you Alexander Kahn.
