NEW YORK (VINnews) — The Taliban held a grandiose military parade for its fledgling “Islamic Emirate Army” in the city of Kandahar on Monday. The Taliban has renamed all of its military divisions in accordance with the group’s extremist ideologies. The 205th Atal Corps stationed in Kandahar was renamed “Al Badr”, a name often used by Muslim militant groups that refers to an important battle detailed in the Quran.
The Taliban is apparently suffering from a shortage of trained air personnel and is trying to entice former Afghan military pilots who fled during their takeover to return to service for the new regime.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid on Wednesday said that:
“My message is, there is no security problem for them in Afghanistan, there is no plan of arresting them, national amnesty is announced,” Mujahid said.
“It is regrettable that a number of pilots have gone, or they are going,” he added.
A reported 191 Afghan pilots were evacuated to the UAE this week after taking refuge in Tajikistan during the Taliban’s takeover of the country. The pilots were detained in the country which borders Afghanistan before the US intervened to allow them to leave for the UAE.
Captured? You mean abandoned by coward Biden’s orders. Should have been blown up
What’s Beijing Joe’s cut the standard 10%?
I hope that they have the decency and courtesy to thank Joe Bidet for his gracious help in giving them such nice warfare material……
Which great deal maker signed a peace deal with these terrorists and released their toughest fighters as a good will gesture last year and committed the US to a full withdrawal of forces by a fixed date without receiving anything in return?
Must have been Joe Biden, before he was elected president. And Nancy Pelosi.
