BNEI BRAK (VINnews) — A mass protest rally is scheduled to take place in Bnei Brak this Sunday in support of the son of the Gerrer Rebbe, along with other Gerrer leaders.

The purpose of the rally which will march across Rechov Chazon Ish, as reported by Kikar HaShabbat, is to protest the criminal lawsuit filed several months ago against eighteen members of Ger, including the son of the Rebbe, Harav Yaakov Aryeh Alter, and a number of other Rabbanim and Mosdos.

That criminal petition alleges that the defendants acted with intent to defame and harm the reputations of the breakaway sect, led by Harav Shaul Alter.

Part of the complaint reads: “The defendants, who serve in official positions in the community and its institutions, acted in retaliation and incitement against members of the breakaway community of Hagaon Rabbi Shaul Alter.”

A scathing front-page article in Friday’s Israeli edition of “Hamodia” claims that “the purpose of the lawsuit is to undermine and infringe on the value of Torah authority. Every Jew understands the serious consequences that may arise if this lawsuit is used as a precedent.”

Thousands of Ger followers are preparing to participate in Sunday’s rally.

Several months ago, an unprecedented gathering was held, with the participation of many Gerrer Roshei Yeshiva, Dayanim, and community leaders, following the filing of the petition.

Why don’t you add what was written in the end of the article on Kikar HaShabat, that the lawer that is suing in court responded that he was given a Psak from Hagaon Rebbe Mendel Shafran that he may and he must give in a claim to court in order to stop the terror, as this is the only available option to stop the incitement.

What a shame!
Instead of admitting that they did wrong and commit to stop terrorising people, and let those people live.

I usually stay away, but after seeing
the way gur bullied and threw out innocent girls here in the USA, we see the truth.
Don’t you all see how every gadol embraced the rosh yeshiva? The whole world is crazy?
Did anyone here recordings of ger mashpim calling us Americans sick people bec we embrace R Shul?
The list goes on. Ger is eww and eikeldik. The kutzka said der velt shtinkt. Now he tragically is saying his own court shtinckt too.
We have to start from the beginning also. Why was he ever made a persona non granta? What did he do wrong other than teaching Torah in maybe a slightly different style ? Is this not all jealousy bec he has charisma?

Wow!
Such a great “kidush hashem” from all sides!
This will certainly demonstrate to the secular community the peacefulness, harmony, and beauty of the “hareidy” lifestyle and bring them closer to torah and mtzvot.
Even better than Ponivitch!

Why would they take another community to court? Does it have shaychus with just having a different mehalech? Or does it mean that it’s a two sided fight?

Something doesn’t add up here. If the allegation is “acted with intent to defame and harm the reputations of” another group, why is it a criminal lawsuit? Either dinnei Torah or, at worst, civil courts settle cases of alleged defamation and harm to the reputation, and award damages.
What are zionist power holders up to?

Mida kneged midah:

If Torah Jews refuse to show kavod habrios on each other, Shamayim arranges it so other camps also refuse to give kavod to Torah Jews.

Another machaneh on the way to Moshiach.
