MONSEY (Vinnews) — In response to the Chaim Walder episode, renowned lecturer Rabbi YY Jacobson shared his thoughts about how difficult it is when we lose faith in role models and the “heroes” who inspired us.

He said, “It turns out, dozens of victims were horrifically manipulated, exploited and abused.”
He quoted Rav Shmuel Eliyahu, who urged Walder to do teshuva, but said that he was “more addicted [to the behavior] than to drugs”.
