KYIV (VINnews) — Air raid sirens can be heard early Thursday morning in Kyiv and Lviv. In addition, videos show fires burning and smoke billowing after massive explosions rock a Ukraine city.

According to the NY Times, the video below shows smoke rising from Kherson International Airport Thursday morning. The airport is situated in the south of Ukraine, in a region bordering Crimea where a build up of Russian forces was observed in recent weeks.
