KHARKIV, UKRAINE (VINnews) — On Sunday morning, Russian troops invaded Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, located in the northeast.

However, according to social media videos, they appear to be meeting resistance from Ukrainian fighters.

Videos circulating on social media appear to show a number of Russian light military vehicles on the streets of the city, with some footage showing vehicles on fire. There are also reports of explosions.

A woman was killed after a nine-story residential building in Kharkiv was hit by “enemy artillery” on Saturday night, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.
