The stunning scene took place during Monday evening’s live broadcast, when the woman stormed her network’s studio to warn viewers that they have been lied to about Putin’s invasion.
She was holding a sign that read “Stop the war. Don’t believe propaganda. They’re lying to you,” as the anchor was reading the news.
The woman yelled, “Stop the war! No to war!” After a few brief moments, producers cut away from the news anchor to a pre-recorded video clip.
The woman was identified as Marina Ovsyannikova, an employee who was fed up with feeding misinformation and bogus propaganda to her fellow Russian citizens.
According to reports, she recorded a video beforehand saying that she was “deeply ashamed” to have been a part of “Kremlin propaganda.”.
Ovsyannikova was reportedly detained by authorities following the incident.

The station, Channel One in Moscow, is Russia’s largest media outlet with an estimated 250 million viewers worldwide.
Under a law passed by Russia’s parliament, journalists who label the invasion a “war,” or report on Russian military setbacks and civilian deaths would face three years in prison, and sometimes as many as fifteen years.
Terribly, this brave woman has already been “disappeared” into Putin’s fog & storm… who will be next?
freedom of speech isn’t so free here in USA, and in Putin’s Russia, it is very expensive.
Brave martyr. When’s the funeral?
