JERUSALEM (VINnews) — The wave of terror in Israel continues without letup. On Thursday morning, a terrorist from Bethlehem ascended a bus near the Gush Etzion communities of Neve Daniel and Elazar. The terrorist stabbed a passenger with a screwdriver, wounding him moderately to seriously. Another passenger then succeeded in eliminating the terrorist, who was identified by Palestinian health officials as Nidal Juma’a Ja’afra, 30.

MDA reported that at 9:11 it received a report about a man who had been stabbed at the Neve Daniel junction. MDA paramedics and medics gave a 28-year-old man medical treatment and transferred him in moderate condition to Shaarei Tzedek hospital.
MDA medics also treated two people who were suffering from panic attacks in the wake of the attack.
The Shaarei Tzedek hospital reported that the injured man was “in serious condition with stab wounds to his upper body. After initial evaluation and stabilization in the trauma unit, he was taken to the operating room.”
