JERUSALEM (VINnews) — After Yosef’s tomb was desecrated by tens of Palestinian vandals on Saturday night, a group of Breslav chasidim decided to go and pray there, despite not coordinating with security forces as required. The chasidim arrived at an unmanned checkpoint outside Shechem, broke through the checkpoint and entered the town. A short time later they were shot at by terrorists. Two chasidim were lightly to moderately injured in the shooting. IDF forces treated the injured men who were transferred to Beilinson hospital for further treatment.

Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan said that “we are all praying for the recovery of the injured people. Nothing justifies the murderous cruelty and terrorism of the Palestinian Authority headed by the terrorist Abu Mazen. Just yesterday morning the barbaric, ISIS-style destruction at a holy site like Yosef’s tomb and today cold-blooded shooting at Jews coming to pray. The responsibility lies with the terrorists of the PA and with those who obsessively try to peddle this bunch of terrorists. To their ‘partner’ they have to transfer the heart of the land of Israel in order to bring the terror into the entire state of Israel.”
Dagan criticized the unauthorized entry to Yosef’s tomb and said that people should only go with the coordinated entries and “guard their lives.”
Jewish Force head Itamar Ben-Gvir said that “only Jewish sovereignty will prevent shooting at worshipers. We need to be the boss over Yosef’s tomb. Even according to the accursed Oslo accords Jews are entitled free access to the tomb and if the Arabs do not respect this, it’s time we came back there. Before we return there they must know that there is a heavy price to be paid for every attack on Jews or destruction of a holy site. We cannot ease restrictions or negotiate with bloodthirsty terrorists who are viewed by Bennett’s cronies in the government as peaceful righteous men.”
Earlier Sunday, a female terrorist stabbed and lightly injured a Border Policeman near the Machpela Cave. The soldier succeeded in shooting dead the terrorist. He was taken to Shaarei Tzedek hospital for further treatment.

Before we blame the current coalition for everything, perhaps we should ask this question: Who transferred Joseph’s tomb to the Palestinian Authority, after it was seized by the IDF, during the Defensive Shield operation, 20 years ago? Could it be the same person who gave Hebron to the PA, a few years earlier?
Really dangerous. Well intentioned by they are putting themselves in danger and the people who may have to rescue them.
Going into a dangerous yes dangerous area with out permission or notifying the army of your visit puts you into this type of situation. Especially if you are unarmed and need to brake in. You not only put your life in danger but those who now need to come to rescue you
They hate the State but rely on it for their safety and livelihoods. Time to reform the Charedi.
