Herzog said that ” I stand before you, carrying in my heart this picture. A rare picture that whoever sees it cannot forget forever. The eyes see, the brain registers, the soul doesn’t want to believe that this black and white image is effectively the blackest of the black. This is not a picture of big numbers, thousands, tens of thousands, millions. This is the story of one family, Jewish. A family being executed by the soldiers of the Nazi satan and his collaborators. A mother and her children on the edge of the pit, with the rifle barrels touching her back.”

“One cannot see the face of the woman or those of her children,” Herzog added. “A moment before her body tumbled into the death pit, she bent towards her small children. In one moment the guns belch smoke. They shot her together, did not use just one bullet. They are efficient and work in tandem. One child is under her. With her last strength she holds on to her small child’s hand as he sits barefoot on the ground soaked in blood. What did she whisper to him? Did she tell him not to cry? And the child -did he cry? Was he silent? Did he understand? Was he scared? The picture is silent but it’s voice screams, shocks, paralyzes the viewer. “Thou shall not murder”, “Do not touch the child” , “Do not take the mother with her children”, “Do not slaughter the mother and child together.”

Herzog explained that the picture was taken on 13 October 1941. Historian Wendy Lower documented the picture and succeeded in identifying the murderers and possibly even the victims. Lower later wrote a book about the picture entitled “The Ravine: A Family, a Photograph, a Holocaust Massacre Revealed.”

The president added that when he saw the picture “my entire being churned over in misery, fury and pain. These atrocities occurred in many, many cities, almost innumerous. In all of them the sun shone , birds chirrupped, the forest was silent and the hangmen slaughtered and slaughtered and slaughtered.

“My brothers and sisters! Three years after the gates of the camps were opened, the Holocaust survivors became the heros of the revival. Symbols, icons and paragons. The state of the Jews is a lighthouse which symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and promises that never again will a Jew hide in a dark cellar from his oppressors, never will parents be torn from their children and sent to their last journey just because they are Jews and never, never will despicable murderers stand behind a Jewish family, shoot it and throw it into a death pit.”

Herzog urged listeners to remember, document and use the memory to infuse their lives with meaning and become better and more worthy people.

The president addressed the “dear survivors of the Holocaust. Even though you are constantly being depleted, our commitment to you grows with time and must be seen and heard worldwide. You are the pillar of fire before the camp, you are our inspiration and hope and give us belief in the justice of our path and willingness to continue onwards.”

The president then concluded by showing another picture which he said “speaks louder than words.”

“On my desk in my office there is a single picture which jolts those who see it. This picture too will not be forgotten by those who see it. In the middle of the picture – Dorah Dreiblat-Eisenberg of blessed memory, born in Lodz, prisoner no. 55374 in Birkenau, Auschwitz. With her is her little great-granddaughter Daniella Har Tzvi. Here too the woman’s face cannot be seen or that of her great-granddaughter. The child is holding the great-granddaughters. The Israeli flag touches their hands. This picture too, taken by Karen Gillerman, tells the whole story. The story of the Jewish people’s revival, the settling of the land, the chain of generations, the story of the state which is the deepest expression of the “dry bones vision” of the prophet Yechezkel. “Therefore, prophesy and say to them, So says the Lord God: Lo! I open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves as My people, and bring you home to the land of Israel.”

Yawn; more of the usual Zionist lies and propaganda.
The Zionists were responsible, both spiritually and physically, for their actions and inaction during the Holocaust.

For example, had the evil Zionists not lobbied governments against allowing Jews into their countries, because the Zionists wanted only Palestine, which they knew well that the British wouldn’t allow because the Zionists had stirred up trouble in Palestine including their war and terror against the British (and Arabs), then maybe that mother and children in that picture would have lived.

But, of course, the Zionists won’t apologize for any of that. Because the Zionist idolatrous faith considers Zionism above all else, that is exactly what they did in WW II – and never regretted doing so even decades later when asked about it.
