Via Twitter, the billionaire philanthropist said he will isolate until he is again healthy.
“I’m fortunate to be vaccinated and boosted and have access to testing and great medical care,” Gates wrote.
The Seattle-based Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is the most influential private foundation in the world, with an endowment of about $65 billion.
Bill Gates has been a vocal proponent for pandemic mitigation measures, specifically access to vaccines and medication for poorer countries. The Gates Foundation in October said it will spend $120 million to boost access to generic versions of drugmaker Merck’s antiviral COVID-19 pill for lower-income countries.
Maybe he will do his part to solve the worlds overpopulation problem.
Some really stupid comments here.
I tested positive. I am not vaccinated, or boosted. I DON’T have access to testing and great medical care. I also don’t have a $65 Billion dollar endowment.
…and I am just as fine and healthy as Bill Gates will be when he gets over his case of the sniffles.
This is about as much of a news story as the paper I’m about to wipe with.
I don’t believe he’s really vaxxed at all. It makes no sense. He knows what’s in that stuff.
This is the bit that claims everyone should listen to him re covid. He was advising on the news what he thinks the world should do. Guess what you caught it just like everyone by now of you would have taken the shot another 15 times maybe you wouldn’t have gotten it, Mr. Gates. You go isolate and don’t tell the world how to live their lives.
