JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Responding to her former Yamina colleague Nir Orbach, who stated when leaving the Bennett coalition this week that “the experiment failed”, MK Idit Silman said that the experiment was actually successful. Silman explained that “the nationalist camp proved that it is not influenced by the media but by tradition.” She added that “the experiment succeeded because the Chareidim do not want money or power, they desire values and Torah growth.”

Silman said that the experiment eventually failed because “the radical left doesn’t want unity, it wants to trample Judaism.”

During a week of sharp and incendiary statements by MKs from the crumbling Bennett government, Meretz MK Yair Golan attacked former prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu, stating that “we need to rid Israel of the cancerous disease named Binyamin Netanyanu.” Golan refused to apologize for his incitement, adding that “we need to fight Netanyahu with all our might.”

MK Nir Orbach retorted that “the experiment failed because people like MK Golan failed to understand that to make a change in Israeli politics one can’t use gutter language.”

Golan responded, stating that in order to make a change -democracy and rule of law must prevail and not attacks on IDF soldiers, price tag attacks on Arabs and illegal outposts. “You need to understand that the danger is not from the left but from Bibi and Ben-Gvir. I believe that is the reason you joined Bennett, don’t now surrender.”

Despite the belligerent and inflammatory rhetoric, Prime Minister Bennett and Foreign Minister Lapid did not intervene to cool the flames and demand a more conciliatory tone from MKs in the Knesset.

She’s not wrong. She also didn’t say that they don’t need money. Everyone needs money. What she meant was that they don’t want money if it means trading it in for values.

Lest you forget: If this government falls, Lapid becomes PM until new elections. All polls indicate the same deadlock that occurred after the previous 4 elections will occur again, leaving Lapid in power. The current right-wing turpitude can therefore be likened to cutting off one’s nose, to spite Bennett’s face!

So.. she and the Cheredi Mk’s aren’t after power and money…. of course, only the bogyman leftists want THAT…

so is that why she and all Cheredi mk’s voted against the Citizenship Law so now hundreds perhaps thousand of Gaza Arabs are no Israeli citizens?

or is this why they all voted against the proposed a bill to ensure that all serious crime samples would be stored permanently.

or why they all voted against the proposed bill by the government to help those who sacrifice the best years of their lives to serve the country by giving them stipends to cover two-thirds of the cost of higher education.

the strategy of the right now is to vote against EVERY bill proposed by the current government, even laws that are vitally important to the security of Israel. in short, if I’m not in the gov coalition i will harm Israel till i get back my power.

So much for not needing money and power….

not exactly true. I had a chareidi fellow come asking for money and I offered him a job and he said it is YOUR zchus for me to take YOUR money, basically he was doing me a favor.

I don’t know what the situation is in Israel but in the USA the chareidim are very much interested in money and power. Everything else takes a back seat to $$.
