NEW YORK (VINnews) A group of faculty and students at CUNY have released a viciously antisemitic letter, accusing Israel of “ethnic cleansing” and “genocide”. It also pledges to “unlearn Zionism”.

As reported in the Jewish Chronicle, the open letter, headlined “Not In Our Name”, reads like a manifesto, and appears to be a tool to pressure CUNY into supporting the BDS movement.
However its messaging, seething with hatred, is nothing short of bone-chilling, and could be used as propaganda to spread antisemitism.
Students at CUNY hope to establish programs to help Jewish students “unlearn Zionism.”

In addition to representing Jewish anti-Zionist students and staff, the letter was signed by the “League of Young Communists” and “Rank and File Action”, which are not Jewish.
It demands “resistance by any means necessary” for Palestinians, accuses Israel of “ethnic cleansing” and funding “Nazi militia groups”, and claims that a mainstream definition of antisemitism “is a ploy to demonize anti-Zionist and Palestinian freedom of speech”.
It says “the Zionist movement within CUNY aims to criminalize and demonize Palestinian students and workers”, and calls for the university to end its partnership with Hillel, which it accuses of being “anti-Black, anti-Indigenous, Islamophobic, and anti-Palestinian organization”.
It calls for “global liberation, resistance by any means necessary, the right of return for Palestinian refugees, the return of all land prior to 1948”. It adds: “We commit to Palestinian liberation as defined by Palestinians.”
It calls Israel a “settler-colonial regime” that practices “ethnic cleansing” and “genocide” against Palestinians.
It adds that Israel “funds Nazi militia groups abroad, arms fascists oppressing liberation revolutionary groups, inspires fascist regimes and white supremacists globally, and oppresses Black and Brown Jews of Color within the settler colonial state of Israel.”
Another terrifying aspect of the letter is that it threatens to persuade other Jews to join its hate-filled mission. It pledges to “create networks and programs within the CUNY Jewish population to question, critique, and unlearn Zionism.”
Antisemitism is on fire in CUNY because Muslim students have proliferated in the past two decades. Open borders, chain migration are two obvious reasons. CAIR pours in hundreds of thousands of dollars to promote protests and rallies that support their agenda of Jew hatred and Antisemitism. Combined with BLM leaders, professors, students who join their ranks and support their causes, the Jewish students have become lambs surrounded by hungry wolves and jackets determined to devour them, wipe them off the face of the earth if Jewish students don’t join their despicable and murderous campaigns. The antisemites are once again seeking the death of Jewish history and the death of the history of Zionism. This letter tells us they want to teach their version of Zionism. I hope Inna Vernikov, Eric Dinowitz, Councilman Yager continue this investigation. No tax dollars should go to CUNY unless the antisemitic professors are fired and anti Semitic groups are removed from campuses. What they are advocating is kill the Jews who believe in Zionism. Harm the Jews who do not join us. This is not free speech. Advocating for the demise of Jews or any people is not free speech.This isH speech is aligned with Hitler . CAIR sends hateful Palestinian speakers to promote Jew hatred on CUNY campuses. The Muslim Brotherhood does the same. Qatar ad Saudi Arabia donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to antisemitism on Campuses.

All one can say is that if Israel was committing genocide & ethnic cleansing, they aren’t very good at it!
Israel expelled approx.250,000 Arabs for supporting enemies of the State or terrorist offences in 1948 & approx. 500,000 left of their own accord due to fear of Jewish revenge or in response to the call from the surrounding Arab armies (egged on by the Mufti of Jerusalem, exiled by the British to Egypt) gathering to attack the newly declared State & drive the Jews into the sea (Which WOULD have been genocide).
So that made 750,000 so-called palestinians who left Israel for whatever reason while there are now over 5,000,000 clamouring for re-entry. Similarly, those that remained now number over 2,000,000 so not much genocide occuring wiithn Israel now, or then, either!
It seems that these professors & their students don’t really understand the meaning of the word ‘genocide’. Simply put it means the destruction of an entire gene pool of a race which clearly hasnt happened in any way, shape or form!
Itis rather worring that the ignorant students are beiing taught b even more ignorant professors!
