JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Elkana Hendler, the son of the Rosh Yeshiva of Ramle Rabbi Aryeh Hendler and a grandson of Yeshivat Hakotel’s Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Yeshayahu Hadari Zts’l, passed away Wednesday after a sudden heart attack. Elkana was 22 years old, an Avreich studying at the Ro’eh Yisrael yeshiva in Yitzhar, Samaria and the father of a young son. He is also survived by his parents and 9 siblings.

Rabbi Aryeh Hendler is Rosh Yeshiva at Ramle and a well known tour guide in Poland who has encyclopedic knowledge of all the different chasidic groups.
The levaya took place on Wednesday and the family announced that the shiva would be at their house on Moshe Rabbeinu street, Ramle. The mourners are “his wife Yikrat Hendler, parents Rabbi Aryeh and Chana Hender, parents of Yikrat Rabbi Nissim and Chana Lock, brothers Yehudah Hendler, Yosef Hendler, sisters Ayelet Yager, Efrat Brand, Ahuva Toiber, Yirat Frankel, Hodaya Dimentman and Renana Hendler.”
