Rabbi Weiss, Leader Of Eda Chareidis, In Serious Condition

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — The head of the Eda Chareidis, Rabbi Yitzchak Tuvia Weiss, was  in hospital for a while due to a lingering infection in his foot which has spread to the rest of his body. Despite being released from hospital earlier in the week, Rabbi Weiss was forced to return there after a deterioration in his condition. During the course of Shabbat, doctors were forced to sedate and respirate the 96-year-old rabbi.

The Eda Chareidis has issued a declaration calling on the public to pray for the recovery of Rabbi Yitzchak Tuvia Ben Rikel.
