Not every student has the appropriate writing skills for this. But nowadays, it is not a problem. Everyone can buy term papers online and become a doctor of science. All three degrees can be obtained at eight public universities in Israel. Bachelor’s degrees are issued by branch colleges of universities and some regional colleges. Other educational institutions specialize exclusively in doctoral studies.

Hebrew and English

Israel has three official languages: Hebrew, Arabic, and English. The main educational programs are taught in Hebrew, less often in English. Therefore, during admission, you will have to pass a language test, the grade for which is awarded on a single scale. Most universities accept students with knowledge of Hebrew at the intermediate level. University faculties of medicine, psychology, and law require a higher level. You can prepare for language tests in special educational centers – ulpans. Training can take up to five months.

There are several educational centers: the most common are ulpans-kibbutzim, where language study alternates with household work. Accommodation and meals are free, but an entrance fee is required. There are ulpans of youth centers and summer university ulpans, which are especially popular among foreigners. Their classes last six to eight weeks. In addition to Hebrew, international students must know English, in which a large part of educational literature is written. English proficiency in all Israeli universities is assessed on a single six-level scale. To enter a university, you must get a certificate from the third – second levels.

Exams

In addition to the language test, entrants take an all-Israeli psychometric test to assess the entrant’s intelligence, ability to think logically, knowledge of mathematics, and command of English. Such tests help students to understand that they will have to work hard to enter their dream university. Students can visit university websites and read more about entrance exams. The test results are valid for seven years and are accepted by all universities in Israel. You can retake an unlimited number of times, but not earlier than ten months after the previous attempt.

On average, you need to score 400 points (out of 800) to enter a university. If you plan to enter the engineering faculties, you will also have to pass a single paid exam in mathematics and physics. You can get into the departments of medicine and psychology only after an additional interview in Hebrew. You must submit creative works in art, music, and theater universities and pass an audition or review.

Preparatory courses

Not every foreigner can pass a psychometric test without prior preparation. Therefore, a whole network of private educational centers in Israel prepares applicants for examinations and university studies. Usually, the duration of preparatory courses is 80-200 credits. Hours Foreign applicants are also offered a particular introductory course for returnees and foreigners.

It consists of basic subjects in the chosen specialty, as well as classes in English and the history of the Jewish people. Naturally, much attention is paid to preparation for the psychometric test within its framework. To enter the preparatory course, you need to pass an exam on knowledge of Hebrew, English, and the Israeli school curriculum, which, as a rule, does not cause difficulties. After the classes end, final exams are held, the results of which are considered for admission to higher education institutions.

Registration

It is not at all a fact that you will be able to get into the university of your choice due to high competitiveness. Therefore, it is better to submit documents to several educational institutions and diligently prepare for the exams. Online tutors can help with this. Every student can check it out, find the best tutor, and be sure he will enter the university of his dreams. The registration procedure at Israeli universities must be repeated before each semester.

Registration for the year’s first half starts in February and for the second – from November. A receipt for payment of the semester must be attached to the application. If a student has financial difficulties, he can take an academic leave and continue his studies a year after the end of classes.
