NEW YORK (Yaakov M / VINnews) — Orthodox activist Dov Hikind, founder of “Americans Against Antisemitism”, blasted NY Governor Kathy Hochul’s hyprocisy on Twitter, after she cozied up to an antisemitic Democrat donor.

Last month Hochul attended a Harvard Club fundraiser in New York City where she stopped to take a few photos with Maher Abdelqader, who has a history of sharing antisemitic content online, including spreading the vicious fake lie that six million Jews were not killed in the Holocaust.
Abdelqader shared a video online claiming that Jews are “satanic” and controlling the media and that questions whether 6 million Jews died in the Holocaust.
He also promoted claims on social media that the Jews are not really from Israel and his Facebook to promote the antisemitic BDS movement
Jen Goodman, Hochul’s campaign spokesperson, told Fox News “Governor Hochul strongly condemns antisemitism in any form and has taken decisive action to hold perpetrators accountable and fight back against hate crimes.”
“Antisemitism and anti-Israel rhetoric are both abhorrent and unacceptable, and the governor will continue her tireless efforts to protect the Jewish community from these attacks,” Goodman said.
“A great fund raiser by a small group of entrepreneurs and business leaders at the prestigious Harvard Club of NYC for NYS Governor Kathleen Hochul,” Abdel Qader wrote in a tweet. “Governor Hochul is an American politician serving as the 57th Governor.”
The tweet has since been deleted.
Fox News quoted Will Reinert, spokesperson for the Republican Governors Association, who said: “Kathy Hochul unabashedly rubbed shoulders with a widely publicized radical anti-Semite – begging the question – who else in the Governor’s inner circle have anti-Semitic ties?”
“With friends like these, it’s no wonder recent polling shows Hochul on the ropes and Zeldin surging towards victory,” Reinert said.
