According to two MDA medics, they arrived at the scene and saw a group of workers walking around who appeared to be suffering from anxiety attacks. There was much shouting and chaos and three workers were trapped under the scaffolding. One person was taken to Hadassah Har Hatzofim in Jerusalem, suffering from a stomach injury. Three others were treated for panic attacks as a result of witnessing the scaffolding collapse on their colleagues.
Firefighters from the Jerusalem-Shomron district searched for people trapped under the ruins and found a person who was fully conscious with stomach injuries. A while later, a man in his mid thirties was uncovered with no signs of life and two hours later another worker was found lifeless.
