JERUSALEM (VINnews) — A true Baal Menagen feels intensely the words of the songs he sings and is inspired and moved by them. In a clip which quickly went viral, Motty Steinmetz, a Vizhnitz singer with tremendous emotive talent and vocal ability, broke down in tears while singing the Chabad tune Rachmana during a Chanukah appearance. The words of the song: “Hashem who answers the prayers of the brokenhearted, answer us” reflect the tune’s haunting mood. Steinmetz, who was chosen as a young man by the Vizhnitz rebbe to sing at weddings because of his ability to bring Chasanim to tears, is himself moved to tears by the tune – as he sings it.

A breath of fresh air to see someone singing REAL holy Jewish music and especially connect with it’s subliminal message.
How beautiful to see Motty Steinmetz’s inspired and most inspiring singing of this hauntingly stunning niggun. May his tefilla find chein and favor in Shomayim and may his kiddush Hashem be repayed in the fulfillment of these holy words ! Amen !
He should poil alles gits. Does he agree to have a video of him crying circulate the world?
it is the feeling that he puts into the song that makes him who he is.
