Mirel spent three weeks in Shaare Tzedek hospital after collapsing on the pavement near the dumpster and being taken in serious condition to the hospital. She suffered damage to both lungs and required intensive life-saving intervention, including artificial respiration until her lungs resumed functioning and numerous complex treatments to restore her health.

Dr. Alon Schwartz, the director of the trauma unit, congratulated Mirel on her release and said that “Mirel’s will to fight for her life for her children despite her severe injury and her remarkable willpower as well as the targeted treatment she received have put her back on her feet. I wish her much health in the future.

Mirel and her family said that “we are full of gratitude and praise to Hashem for all His kindness to us in the past few weeks from when Mirel was severely injured until the joyous day of her release. We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to Klal Yisrael for their constant prayers which saved Mirel and brought her back to us healthy. Your prayers were our oxygen in those harsh and frightening days.

“We wish to thank the MDA team and the nurses and doctors at the Shaare Tzedek ICU and surgery department for their devoted treatment around the clock and to all the medical advisors who accompanied us in this period. We wish to emphasize that as believing Jews we have no anger towards any Jew and we pray that peace and love of Jews will increase in the Jewish nation.”

The release in no way negates the tremendous pain and damage caused to her and her family. The people that did this should be prosecuted.

lets get this straight, had this been done by some BLM protesters we’d be yelling about this till we’re hoarse. our print publications would have it plastered on their front pages for weeks

but as hit happens this was done by Frum hooligans, so not a peeps form our print publications, not a protest from our “leaders”. those without internet connection don’t even know it happened.

Hurts to say , it reminds me of Arabs who don’t give a hoot about Arab lives lost in Syria or Iran they only wake up when some Arab rioter is shot by the IDF, the reason is, they don’t care about Arab lives, they just hate Jews…. we on the other hand….. should know better
