(Jerusalem) –  There is another aspect to supporting the judicial reform other than ensuring a US-like check and balance system over Israel’s supreme court, and that is – initiating reduction of terrorism.

To this end, a  bill has just been introduced to revoke the Israeli citizenship of terrorists who have received monetary compensation from the Palestinian Authority for their acts of terrorism.  The terrorists who will be affected will be deported to either Gaza or the PA.

This morning (Monday) the bill was approved by the Internal Affairs and Environment Committee on Monday morning and will be put before the Knesset plenary committee today as well.

The bill received broad support both from coalition MKs a well as from opposition Knesset members.

The decision to revoke the citizenship of a terrorist will be introduced by the Interior Minister and the Justice Minister will have seven days to respond.  The Israeli courts will have 30 days to respond. Tomer Rosen, legal advisor to the committee stated that the approval of the Attorney-General to revoke the citizenship of a terrorist is not required.

In committee dicussions it was noted that  Shamima Begum, now 23, is one of three east London schoolgirls who travelled 8 years ago to Syria to support ISIS. She was born in the UK to Bangladeshi parents and her citizenship was stripped by the UK on national security grounds in 2019.

The idea to deport terrorists and their families was raised at the cabinet meeting on Motzai Shabbos by Likud MK Hanoch Milwidsky.

Can there truly be anyone to argue that the pay-to-slay program SHOULD be allowed to continue as is? Insanity has ruled for so long, that it takes an “extremist” government to take a sane position, and still be called “extremist”.

Why was this law not created 10 ago?
Why was this law not created 20 ago?
Why was this law not created 30 ago?
Why was this law not created 40 ago?
Why was this law not created 50 ago?

Why does it take so many years and decades to create this law, when it should have been painfully obvious 365 days a year, over the past 50 years?

Send them to their Palestinian homeland – Jordan. Remind them that King Hussein had a bloody fight for them last time the PLO and Arafat showed up. They’re gangsters, they sow discord, they make no appreciable contributions. Send them to Jordan, out of Eretz Yisroel, out of Gaza, out of town and cities that fly PLO colors.
