MIAMI (VINnews) – The North Miami Beach police on Wednesday gave an update into the investigation of the death of an Orthodox Jewish man who was killed this past Sunday.

Hershy Schwartz, was found shot to death near his car Sunday in the parking lot of a Wendy’s on Northeast 167th Street not far from Interstate 95.
Schwartz was originally from New York and had lived in South Florida for about 12 years.
Schwartz was active in his Orthodox Jewish community in North Miami Beach and elsewhere, and was a lead member of Chesed Shel Emes.
Police said that, they are working on the premise that Schwartz was killed in a robbery gone wrong, and are having promising leads, that could result in an arrest, police did not provide any other details.
