BROOKLYN (VINnews) — A cow escaped a Brooklyn slaughterhouse Tuesday and was caught on video, running–quite literally–for its life.
The bovine was spotted running through the streets of Brooklyn before being caught on Tuesday near East 95th Street and Avenue L.
It reportedly was a small black calf which had escaped from a vehicle en route to the slaughterhouse.
After a chase which lasted several minutes, the cow was rounded up and placed back into the vehicle. No cowboys were needed in the effort. .
According to reports, the cow was “safely” returned and is awaiting its inevitable fate.
Mary Lynn-Buckley, a reporter for News 12, tweeted about the incident, which apparently took place outside of her news agency’s office.
They should spare the poor animal and send her to a sanctuary .
By the time we see this he’s already veal cutlets.
The fugitive animal appears to be a young steer, not a cow. A cow is a female bovine, not all cattle are cows.
Relax. The animal has been rescued and is being sent to a sanctuary in NJ.
Shame on VIN for censoring my comment because I have a contrarian viewpoint on this topic that is inspired by Jewish ethics and mysticism.
They should’ve asked the Rebbes Gabbaim for help. Have you ever seen how many of the Rebbes thousands of “Milk Cows” they can herd, prod, shove & push past the Rebbe in an hour?
You sure it wasn’t a sheep for the korban Pesach iyh ?
