JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Hatzalah teams were summoned to the home of the Belzer Rebbe Wednesday morning to provide emergency medical response after he collapsed suddenly. The teams including United Hatzalah volunteers and members of other organizations, reported that the Rebbe was in good condition after suffering an apparent hypoglycemic incident.
One volunteer said that “he apparently had a significant drop in blood sugar. Due to his health condition, we hope that he will recover from the incident speedily.”
The 75-year-old rebbe had been feeling very weak a month ago, but the chasidic court reported that no unusual indicators had been found during tests he underwent. Doctors believe that he recently suffered a light stroke.
Officials from the rebbe’s house reported that the stroke had slightly hindered his abilities but said they hoped that he would seen recover his health.
The chasidim added that the public should continue praying for the complete recovery of the Rebbe, Rav Yisochor Dov Ben Miriam.
Belze Reebbe should have a speady recovery, a real leader in a time that we lack leadership.
A wise man with eyes on the future, making decisons ahead of time.
Why such negative commenting? If you don’t like him, why must you poke fun and share? Keep your opinion to yourself! The fact is the man is a Yid and the mitzva of ואהבת לרעך כמוך applies! He’s only done good and for so, so many multitudes of people. May he have a quick רפואה שלמה. May he have the כח and health to continue doing great things!
Someone who’s only ever given to klal yisroel and never asked for anything in return. We all owe him.
he seems to be in serious health decline, he actually was a rebbe that is pretty self made.
He should be well: But does a future Rebbe really have to one of the Rebbe’s children, or is it better that we should vote for the most qualified candidate?
May the rebbie shlita have a refuah shlaima, but hopefully he will show us the way in losing weight. It is not good to be heavy if you have sugar problems.
What will happen to the bigelizen?
Will he srill have the strength to throw it
When the Rebbe saw how many of his relatives that were unemployed (& unemployable) were recently hired by his Yeshivas he fainted.
He should have a complete refuah. …..they pushed the shot on their bachurim. I don’t know if the rebbe took it too.
