FLORIDA (VINnews) — This week on his popular political talk show, Ben Shapiro made a bracha before eating a chocolate bar he was promoting.

A Twitter debate ensued over whether Shapiro pronounced the “shehakol” bracha the traditional Ashkenazi way (segol) or used a “kamatz” which is past tense, the tradition of Chabad and other groups.
idk, I heard "nihyeh"

Does this guy own a large piece of VIN? Why else we gotta hear about everything that happens to him.
Is that newsworthy?
An article for this?
Are you guys for real?
This is the type of headline I’d expect on the r/discussimamother subreddit, not here. Here, frum Jews being frum ought to be considered normal and expected.
Beautiful! Kol hakavod
Ok fine, what’s the news about, any jew should make a bracha before eating or drinking.
why is a frum yid making a bracha news
Does anyone know? Is that hechsher reliable?
It’s just the opposite ‘nihye’ Is past tense ‘nihya’ is current tense
VIN. It’s pronounced and spelled “Bracha”, NOT “Beracha”. Unless you’re a Syrian Jew saying it.
I have no problem with Shapiro but I really dislike his voice and how he supports some pretty awful xtians.
Now if he just gives up his Ultra-Rightwing Evangelical Christian beliefs he’ll be a real Tzaddik.
