JERUSALEM (VINnews) — An 18-year-old Israeli youth was killed and his friend badly injured in an ATV accident which occurred in Canada. Another person suffered light injuries in the incident.

Reuven Landau, a resident of Nofim in Samaria who had just completed 12th grade and was on a pre-army trip, died after the ATV he was riding in was involved in an accident. He will be brought to burial in Israel Monday. His friend, Itai Mazor, is hospitalized in a Canadian hospital.
The Emek Hefer Regional Council issued a statement that “We mourn and are pained by the death of Reuven Landau, who finished 12th grade in the Ramot Yam school at the Mevo’ot Yam youth village. Reuven was killed in a serious road accident abroad and will be buried in Yakir at 5:30 PM.
Two days ago, a 2-year-old Israeli child climbed on the window on the third floor of the hotel where his family was staying in Tbilisi and fell to his death.
Following that incident, Israel’s Foreign Ministry said, “The incident is known and is being handled by the Consul in Tbilisi and the Department for Israelis Abroad.”
