Palestinian sources reported that during the course of the demolition, local Palestinians clashed with the IDF forces. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that 58 people were injured from gas inhalation during the clashes.
In May, the head of the IDF Central Command signed a demolition order for the home of Abd al-Fattah Hussein Ibrahim Kharusha, the terrorist who carried out the Huwara attack.
Kharousha was killed by Israeli force in a raid nine days after the deadly attack on the Yaniv brothers. Security officials believe he intended to execute another attack, leading to the daylight operation. As the forces attempted to apprehend him and other suspects, a firefight ensued between security forces and terrorists. Five other terrorists were killed alongside Kharousha and 23 Palestinians were wounded.

The demolition order was issued after an appeal filed by the terrorist’s family was rejected. About two weeks prior to that, IDF soldiers operated in the city of Shechem and mapped the home of Khaled Kharusha, the son of Abd al-Fattah Hussein Ibrahim Kharusha, ahead of its demolition.
Khaled and his brother Mohammed , who helped their father plan the shooting attack, have been indicted for intentionally causing death and for possession of weapons. Their arrest has been extended until the completion of legal proceedings against them.
Mishlei, chapter 14, verse 11:
“The house of the wicked will be destroyed…”
===========
Destroying the houses of terrorists is not enough.
The land that the houses of terrorists stood on
should be given to the families of the victims.
Anything of value in those houses should be
sold at auction, and the money raise should
be given to the families of the victims.
