The two girls, Sarah (12) and Liba (8) Goldschmidt, arrived in Israel after a Pennsylvania court authorized their travel as part of the visitation rights of the mother, who lives in Israel.

After spending 10 days on vacation with their mother, they were supposed to return to their father, who had arrived in Israel to pick them up, but they did not make the rendezvous on Friday.

Police continue to search for the mother and the girls and are using tracking technology to try and locate the cellphones used by them but so far without success.

The girls’ father, Ofer Goldschmidt, has dual Israeli and American citizenship but their mother Tali has Israeli citizenship. The girls were born in the US and this is their first visit to Israel.

We members of “The Father’s Group” unequivocally support the Father all the way, and demand the immediate release of these 2 precious children, to their beloved Father.

Hopefully this doesn’t turn into another “Ayfo Yossele” story from the early 60’s.

How are they kidnapped if they are with their mother? Yes, it’s against the wishes of some court. But “kidnapped” has a specific connotation. Use another term.

Just a good headline, this sounds like a personal story. It’s
not interesting to most readers
