ISRAEL (VINnews) — An elderly man was arrested on Friday for “fishing” jewelry out of Jerusalem store display windows in Jerusalem.

As reported in the Jerusalem Post, several times last month, the 72-year-old man used a metal wire to remove the jewelry, in what police described was a sophisticated manner.
The man was caught by hotel security while trying to break into a business on the hotel grounds.
He is being detained until at least Tuesday, while police continue their investigation of his crimes.
