(VINnews) — Conservative talk radio host Dan Bongino said on his show that the NYPD must be aware of a threat, or they would not be calling upon all officers to report for duty on Friday.
He said, “As a former NYPD officer…I don’t know what level mobilization this is, [but] this is typically a big deal…
“The NYPD does not like to do this…because if the threat is not real and the cops show up to work, after cancelling a family vacation, they [get angry]
“The NYPD does not call these often, so they probably know something…These guys are some of the best terrorism investigators in the world, because they are in a terrorism part of the world.
“The NYPD is one of the few police departments…that has a direct channel to overseas intel…they don’t need to go through the federal channels…the NYPD has detectives, some have been working 10-15 years on terrorism.
“If they’re ordering all their cops to report in uniform they definitely know something.”
