The footage shows a small part of the amazing heroism of the tiny local guard, comprised of just six residents, which fended off an attack by tens of terrorists, succeeded in eliminating 20 of them and capturing ten others. With just four guns and two pistols between them, the local guard headed by Ilya Lilienthal succeeded in saving over 200 members of the kibbutz from the Hamas murderers. One of the guards was killed and two other members of the kibbutz were also murdered by the terrorists.

After hearing shooting in the kibbutz, Lilienthal went outside and saw four terrorists. He managed to eliminate two of them from the window of his bathroom and the other two after they threw grenades towards him.

Rabbi Raanan, head of the Ayelet Hashachar organization, says Hagomel with members of Kibbutz Sufa

Lilienthal and his local guard took positions and fended off the attacks, eliminating the other terrorists and saving the kibbutz before the IDF arrived to evacuate them.
