Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer was asked on CNN how the Biden adminsitration can ensure that the $100 million in funds being given does not end up in the hands of terrorists.

DEP. NSA JON FINER: “As you know this was a primary focus of the president’s diplomacy yesterday…getting assistance into Gaza is a complicated undertaking, it involves essentially securing an understanding among Hamas fighters…”
CNN Host: Is the US essentially in a position that it has to take the word of Hamas…?”
FINER: “We believe there is an understanding of all players who control the Rafa crossing”
