“I’m not da’as Torah” is kind of a funny thing to say when discussing something that is, in fact, a mitzvah d’orayta. You’d never say, for example, “Well, sure these people aren’t eating pork, but I’m not da’as Torah.”
Interesting what he said at the end about no innocent Palestinians.
I would say it’s similar to the German population in WW2.
There are 80m Germans which means 90% never harmed Jews. But no one would call the Germans ‘innocent’
