(VINnews) — Some of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the country have sent an open letter to law school deans, demanding that they address the surge in antisemitism on campus.

As reported by the NY Times, at least 24 law firms (the list is growing) said that their recruiters will only consider graduates who are “prepared to be an active part of workplace communities that have zero tolerance policies for any form of discrimination or harassment.”

“We also would not tolerate outside groups engaging in acts of harassment and threats of violence, as has also been occurring on many of our campuses,” they wrote.

The open letter was signed by six of the top 10 US law firms by revenue — Kirkland & Ellis, Latham & Watkins, Skadden, Arps, Slates, Meagher & Flom, Sidley Austin, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

It began: “Over the last several weeks, we have been alarmed at reports of anti-Semitic harassment, vandalism, and assault on college campuses, including rallies calling for the death of Jews and the elimination of the State of Israel.”

“We look to you to ensure your students who hope to join our firms after graduation are prepared to be an active part of workplace communities that have zero tolerance policies for any form of discrimination or harassment, much less the kind that has been taking place on some law school campuses,” the firms wrote.

Another signatory, Davis Polk & Wardwell, last month rescinded job offers over letters blaming Israel for the Oct. 7 Hamas attack.

Joel Petlin, an outspoken Jewish advocate, tweeted an image of the letter along with this message: “Some of the largest law firms in the country have a message for the deans of law schools who have tolerated Antisemitic activities conducted by their students: If you want your graduates to get good jobs in our law firms, stop producing Antisemites.”

Billionaire Bill Ackman, who has been extremely vocal in condemning campus Jew-hatred, slammed the universities, tweeting: “It’s pathetic that we need to rely on law firms and corporations to police antisemitism on campus. None of them will hire racist students or those that support terrorists. Every one of these universities, law schools and business schools have made massive recent investments in DEI initiatives, staff and faculty. Where are they? What are they doing?”

These universities should be sued to oblivion for fostering and contributing to a hostile and dangerous school environment for Jewish students.

We see these “pro-Palestinian protesters” for the anti-semites they are. They aggressively and violently confront Jews, because they claim to care about the Palestinian people, but when did they ever gather with such venom and vigor against Hamas, the terrorist organization that keeps international money and goods from them, that makes e/o there live under oppressive sharia law regardless of what their beliefs are, and that puts rockets and explosives in and under their hospitals and schools? This situation of Gaza’s Palestinian Arabs, ruled by terrorists who don’t care about bettering their lives, and actually kills at will whoever they want from the population gets no inflamed and violent protests like we see happening here. Only when they think the Jews (who are defending their own lives) are messing with precious Palestinians do they aggressively get confrontational. Clear anti-semitism. Dox every one, definitely don’t give them jobs, and start charging them with hate crimes, disturbance of peace, and whatever else they deserve. if not, this cancer of college idiots will spread.

I wish I had faith in the seeming determination of the law firms et al. The problem is, though that the human memory is very short. Do you think the scenario will be that Mahmad ibn Zadeh will show up to his interview appointment at Gutterfield & Gutterfield Inc, and will be shown a video of himself in a “protest” where he is dressed in black with green, red and white accents and yelling “Death to the Jews” at a campus library window, and he will meekly walk out of there defeated and chagrined? Well, think again. Most likely the law office will have forgotten about this period in history, and his vague record of college “activism” will place him in good stead. Most likely by that time the heads of HR at the law firm will be the likes of Brahim Ofutula rather than Sean Goldberg. And even if the initial scenario does play out along these lines, the lawsuit this Jew-hater law candidate will mount will create riots in every American city, and he will either win or “settle” (that’s the ‘Jewish’ way of winning). So I wouldn’t dance exultantly on the rooftops just yet…
