WASHINGTON (VINnews) — On Tuesday in front of the White House, prior to the massive rally, there was a beautiful scene, when a huge crowd of Jews davened Shacharis, led by singer Beri Weber. Conservative talk host Mark Levin tweeted the video, and in response, Randi Weingarten, the Jewish President of the American Federation of Teachers, mockingly and despicably replied: ‘Where are the women?’
Weingarten got heavy backlash from Orthodox Jews for her ignorance and intolerance.
You’re such a contemptible moron. Get off my timeline you idiot. https://t.co/okRqLrjVNk

Levin himself replied: “You’re such a contemptible moron. Get off my timeline you idiot.”
Ben Shapiro tweeted: ‘This woman is a complete idiot.’

In addition, Twitter’s ‘community notes’ corrected Weingarten’s absurd tweet, saying: “Orthodox Jews have gender separated prayers for thousand of years. The women were on the other side praying and would not be visible from someone recording in the “men’s section.””
Other frum Jews slammed Weingarten as well.
It’s an Orthodox minyan, with separate sections for men and women as per tradition and Halacha.

The so-called “anger” was directed at a woman who used a day about inclusivity to berate Orthodox Jewish men in the middle of prayers.
Don’t deflect @rweingarten. This isn’t about egalitarian Judaism. It’s about your hate for fellow Jews who you have political differences with. https://t.co/PFWv6qiaID

What a lie. The women were not “on the other side of the square”, as Ms. Weingarten claimed. The women were about 15 feet away, with a Mechitza that only spanned not even 20% of the opening.
Also, how was Ms. Weingarten a “harmed party”? Was she there? Did she want to be there but demurred because of the separation issue? Not a single woman who was the there felt harmed by the separation. In fact, probably every woman there would have felt harmed if there was NO separation.
The chutzpah of Randi Weingarten framing her made-up issue under the guise of “inclusivity”.
Would she ever have made a comment like this about Muslims????
It never ceases to amaze me how politicians and those who hold high office, or others with a powerful voice, feel like they could pee on the Jews with impunity but would never dare say or do the same thing to certain other races/minority groups.
She should know better. She is a rebitzen, married to a female reform “rabbi”
Question back: where was the reform minyan?
Did she ever play hockey for the Ottawa Senators?
From wiki:
On October 11, 2007, Weingarten publicly announced she is a lesbian. Weingarten introduced Liz Margolies, a psychotherapist and health care activist, as her partner while accepting the Empire State Pride Agenda’s 2007 Community Service Award from Christine Quinn.[4][147] By December 2012, she was in a relationship with Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum of Congregation Beit Simchat Torah.[148] They married March 25, 2018.[149][150]
Interesting that most of the responses on Twitter and here are from men.
