JERUSALEM (VINnews) — CNN may tout themselves as a news outlet which “goes there and tells the most difficult stories” but clearly they are not concerned with reporting the truth when it comes to Israel stories.Join our WhatsApp group

Thus, at a time when most of the free world’s sympathies are with the 240 hostages being held underground in atrocious conditions in Gaza, with no access by the Red Cross, CNN chose to focus on one of the Palestinian women being freed in the first stage of the prisoner exchange deal.
The network conducted the interview with the mother of the female prisoner, who described her daughter as “so innocent” and grumbled that she was being held in solitary confinement since October 7th. CNN even claimed that Israel is arresting innocent Palestinians (1800 have been arrested since Oct. 7th) in order to free them as part of a prisoner exchange.
As @CNN‘s “chief international investigative correspondent,” @nimaelbagir is either blind to the facts or deliberately left out the bit where this woman’s daughter attempted to stab an Israeli police officer.
“She’s so innocent.” Not even a little bit. https://t.co/KPmrkGspsT

Honest Reporting reveals however that the network forgot to mention why the young woman had been sitting in jail for 8 years- she had stabbed and tried to murder a policeman. It also conveniently omitted that the woman- who had been shot in the stabbing attempt – was treated by Israeli police officers on the scene, including one who had just lost her father to a Palestinian terrorist.
Evidently CNN is willing to swallow any sob story by a Palestinian without even checking its veracity. However when Israel claims and brings incontrovertible evidence that Shifa hospital had a huge, underground active tunnel network, the network avers that “It does not establish without a doubt that there is a command center under Gaza’s largest hospital, but it is clear that there is a tunnel down below.”
