WATCH: IDF Action Clips, Tens Of Terrorists Surrendering In Northern Gaza

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Although fierce fighting is still taking place in many regions in the Gaza strip, the IDF has reason for optimism. The Hamas resistance has been broken in most regions in northern Gaza, although sporadic clashes continue even in Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia, the northern neighborhoods which were conquered in the first part of the ground offensive.

During the current phase of the offensive, the IDF has targeted both Khan Younis, the huge city in Southern Gaza where Yahya Sinwar is presumed to be hiding, as well as the towns of Jabalya and Sejaia east of Gaza city. In Khan Younis, the IDF is treading carefully but swiftly, going from house to house and from tunnel to tunnel and eliminating enemies. The city is currently virtually surrounded by IDF forces.

In Sejaiya, the IDF has faced hand-to-hand combat and has succeeded in breaking Hamas resistance in many parts of the neighborhood. (CAUTION: SENSITIVE CONTENT)
