BOSTON (VINnews) — In spite of intense backlash over her disgraceful comments in Congress condoning antisemitism and the calling for genocide on campus, Harvard President Claudine Gay reportedly won’t resign.

This follows the Harvard board publicly announcing their support for Gay and more than 500 faculty members coming to her defense in open letters.

In a post on Twitter, Billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman, who has donated millions to Harvard and has been very vocal against Gay, confirmed the report. In addition, Elon Musk is calling for the school to be defunded.

“From a source I trust: Claudine Gay will not resign and the governing boards decided not to terminate her as president of @Harvard,” Ackman wrote.

In another post Ackman said, “I have been told now by two reporters that one of the factors that made it challenging for the @Harvard board to fire Gay was that they were concerned it would look like they were kowtowing to me.”

Ackman mocked the decision, implying that the notion that he should sit silent, rather than vocally opposing Gay as he did, and that would somehow help advance his cause, was idiosyncratic.

Ackman’s claim comes days after he published a scathing open letter to the Harvard board, slamming Gay and effectively calling for her to be fired.

The letter began: “In her short tenure as President, Claudine Gay has done more damage to the reputation of Harvard University than any individual in our nearly 500-year history.

“Because of her failure to condemn the most vile and barbaric terrorism the world has ever seen, for supporting rather than condemning 34 Harvard-branded student organizations who hold Israel “entirely responsible” for Hamas’ barbaric acts, for failing to enforce Harvard’s own rules on student conduct, and for her other failures of leadership, President Gay catalyzed an explosion of antisemitism and hate on campus that is unprecedented in Harvard’s history.”

Elon Musk responded to one of Ackman’s tweets by praising and reaffirming his letter. He tweeted: Your letter simply articulated, with great clarity, the severe concerns held by many

Musk also called for defunding the Ivy League school.

An open letter in support of Gay, signed by over 500 current faculty members, urged the university’s board not to remove her. Additionally, the 13-member Harvard Alumni Association Executive Committee unanimously expressed support, as reported by university’s woke paper The Harvard Crimson.

Why did you think she would resign? She has all the elements to empower her to stay put: A black, female intellectual, occupying an extremely prestigious and well paying position. So she doesn’t particularly like Jews. Yawn.

And is her last name really “Gay”? or is that just to score more political points?

A degree from Harvard is a badge of shame.
Nobody should hire any person who attended Harvard.

today’s universities, as well as in the past, are havens for liberal leftists. Those who go to learn medicine or engineering can not be be affected by the prevailing atmosphere of leftist thinking

She is trash and Harvard has now lowered itself to become trash also. Unless the student who graduates is Jewish, please do not hire graduates of Harvard.
