RED CROSS DISGRACE: Comedian Says Supposed Humanitarian Group is Just a ‘Taxi-Cab’

(VINnews) — Jewish comedian Michael Rapaport posted a video of himself on social media, blasting the Red Cross and UNICEF for refusing to ask Hamas to grant them access to Israeli hostages, and refusing to “fight” for the innocent children still being held captive.

An emotional and visibly angry Rapaport called the Red Cross “fraudulent” and accused the group of neglecting the hostages. He went further, saying they are merely a “taxi cab” and nothing more than an “Uber”.

Rapaport said that he had just met with the Bibas family (apparently while visiting Israel), and he blamed the Red Cross for essentially making zero effort to help an innocent 4 year old and 9 month old who were tragically taken captive by Hamas monsters. He added that the Red Cross is doing nothing to fight on behalf of those young innocent babies, as well as sick young adults who are still being held captive.

It is well known that the Red Cross, which has never been kind to the Jews, has made no effort to gain access or deliver medicine and basic supplies to the hostages. They have been completely silent.

The two Bibas children were taken hostage from their home in Kibbutz Nir Oz along with their mother Shiri, one of the last mothers still being held captive in Gaza. Their father Yarden was captured separately.

In a recent meeting with the Knesset Finance Committee, Ofri Bibas, sister of Yarden, tried to convey the suffering of her family, begging for help.

She said, “I will try to describe our nightmare to you a little bit. A week or so ago, we received a message from Hamas that Shiri and the children were killed, we still don’t know if it’s 100 percent true.

“I move between searching for a glimmer of hope inside and thinking about what eulogy to read at their graves, or apologizing to my brother that we were not able to bring them home; between the joy that I am pregnant and the thought of whether the baby will know them and the fact that I will name the baby Yarden.”

“They are in hell and their lives are in danger every single moment, and I don’t know where to shout anymore, here in Israel or abroad, and I’m not a person who knows how to shout, I think it is your job to shout, not ours.

“They can’t stay there for even one day more. They’ll die there. Every day we hear about more bodies and more horrors that they’ve endured there. There’s nothing more important than returning them.”

Some Israelis have echoed the sentiment that the Red Cross is “nothing more than a taxi service for when the hostages were released”.

As was recently reported in the Jerusalem Post:

The Red Cross has sparked outrage in Israel with how it has handled the mass kidnapping and massacre conducted by Hamas on October 7, with some Israelis saying that the international organization operated as nothing more than a taxi service for when the hostages were released.

The family of Elma Avraham, an 84-year-old woman who was released during the ceasefire, told Israeli media that the Red Cross had refused to bring Avraham the medicine she needed. Immediately after Avraham was released, she was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Since then, her condition has improved.

Dr. Nadav Davidovitz – who treated Elma after her release – said “We were in meetings with the Red Cross and asked them to make every effort to bring the medications to her, because some hostages are just dying. From a medical and nursing standpoint, what we witnessed is unlawful neglect.”

I’m offended. How dare he compare the Red Cross to a taxicab? What have taxicabs done to deserve this insult?

Taxicabs and the Red Cross are indeed similar. When they don’t want to do their jobs, they simply turn on the OFF-DUTY light.
