During an additional incident, IDF troops destroyed a weapons storage facility located inside the residence of a Hamas terrorist operative. This was a significant armament center for terrorist cells in the area. Moreover, the troops identified seven terrorists in the area of Khan Yunis. In response, the troops directed an IAF aircraft to the terrorists’ location, where they were subsequently killed.

Furthermore, IDF ground troops operated in a structure where rocket manufacturing parts were found near an UNWRA school. In addition, three terror tunnel shafts were identified near the school.

During activity in the Jabalya neighborhood, the Nahal Brigade located an operational tunnel shaft inside a children’s room in the basement of a building. This shaft included built-in stairs and was destroyed by the brigade’s engineering forces.

Earlier, the IDF announced that a number of launches from Lebanese territory toward the areas of Arab al-Aramshe, Sasa, and Dovev in northern Israel were identified. In addition, a number of launches from Lebanon which did not cross into Israeli territory were identified.

One of the strikes on kibbutz Sasa scored a direct hit on a recreation hall, but no casualties were reported.

On a different front in Samaria, IDF drone strikes eliminated at least four terrorists in the Nur Shams camp near the West Bank city of Tulkarm. The IDF confirmed that the attack targeted a group of terrorists, adding that reservists and Border Police officers operating in the camp arrested four wanted Palestinians and seized two firearms.

IDF engineering vehicles uncovered explosive devices planted under and on the sides of roads in the camp, which were intended to be detonated against troops, it said.

The military stated that troops also found an explosive device inside a clinic in Nur Shams where wanted Palestinians were hiding.

During the raid, Palestinian gunmen opened fire and others hurled explosive devices and Molotov cocktails at the soldiers, according to the IDF statement.

“Aircraft struck a number of armed terror squads who fired, hurled explosives, and endangered the troops,” it said, adding that at least four terrorists were killed and others were wounded.
