NEW YORK (VINnews) — A Muslim girl who claimed to be eleven years old but looked considerably older told Rabbi Shmuley Boteach to “go kill yourself”, in a clip which has gone viral on social media.

The incident occurred on Christmas Eve in Times Square in New York City, as anti-Israel activists attempted to ‘cancel Christmas’ in New York to highlight the Gaza situation. The girl approached Rabbi Boteach and told him that if he had a problem with ‘Free Palestine, then ‘ “go kill yourself.” An incredulous Rabbi Boteach asked her if she meant it and said he would report her to the police.
The girl’s mother shockingly appears amused, as she defends her daughter’s actions, emphasising her age, saying, “She is 11.”. When Rabbi Boteach said that he would report the incident , the girl declared that she was “not sorry” for calling for his death.

Rabbi Boteach wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “An “11-year-old” Muslim girl with her family walked over to me in Times Square and told me to kill myself because I’m a Jew. I am not making this up. You must watch this. They then had their small child kick me to humiliate me, while their daughter continued to say that I should kill myself. Identify who these people are. Also, other passersby yelled at me that she’s white, and I should kill myself as a Jew. All of this happened right in the middle of New York City the night before Christmas. Anti Semitism is becoming unbelievably dangerous and deadly in the United States and around the world. We must fight this disease.”
Many commenters on the post were sympathetic to Rabbi Boteach. One wrote that “The girl is so filled with hatred. It’s sad to see someone so young carry so much baggage. All heaped upon them by their parents and friends. It just further proves which people are doing all of the hating,” while another wrote, “This is Hate crime yet wheres the police? Why are they not behind bars? “I am so sorry this happened. It’s painful to watch. It is ingrained at a young age in Islam to hate Jews.”
This is pure sickness. The girl keeps saying she’s only 11.Which she is acting like she 4. Her parents should be arrested for encouraging her. These people should be kicked off the streets and go back to the country they came from, where they can’t speak freely
One cannot reason with savages; therefore, what is the point of Rabbi Boteach trying to speak to them? What was he even doing in that area, by himself?

The girl should be whipped by her parents at home, at her mosque, and Muslim school. She is not dressed as a proper Muslima, Muslim girl. Where is her hijab, chador, niqab?
Clearly that rotten ugly apple does not fall far from the tree. you could tell that just by looking at her mother. A camel is better looking. I am a Canadian Jew and fully support Israel. The girl in the video insulting Rabbi Boteach says she is Canadian. Unfortunately this is what we are having to deal with in Canada and the government is silent.

She is not eleven. She is instructed to say that, so nothing could be done to her. In sharia law, she would be stoned for wearing lipstick. Society is so messed up. Started with Obama and his teachings.
Did she say she was in Canada? Canada is not the U.S. In Canada there are serious laws against hate speech and what she did could be an actual crime. And while in Canada a child under 12 cannot be charged with a (federal) crime, one suspects they lied about her age exactly for that reason. It is hard to believe the voice and make up is that of an 11 year old girl. However, even if the child is under 12, such government agencies as family services may get involved – and these agencies have the power to take the child (as well as any other children) away from the parents if the parents are deemed unfit.

Boteach, as much as Hillel Fuld, is a representative of Jews across the globe. But you’ll see pushback on the former, even though neither one asked any of us if we subscribe to such representation.
