JERUSALEM (VINnews) — BDE: The IDF announced the names of four soldiers who fell in the fighting in Southern Gaza.

– Sergeant Roi Tal, 19, from Kfar Yehoshua, who fought in the 94th Battalion of the Kfir Brigade, fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.

– Sergeant first class (res.) David Schwartz, 26, from Elazar, who fought in the 8219th Engineering Battalion, fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip. He is survived by his parents, wife Meital and five siblings.
Schwartz, son of Yair and Sarah, was a graduate of the Har Etzion yeshiva. David loved learning and loved helping others. He felt very close to Boyaner chasidim and tried to participate in all of the tishim of the chasidic group. During a 24-hour leave from Gaza he participated in one of the tishim with his gun over his shoulder.
David also participated in the weekly shiurim of Rabbi Daniel Chaim Alter, the head of the Pnei Menachem yeshiva, as well as the shiurim of Rabbi Shaul Alter.

– Sergeant first class (res.) Yakir Hechster, 26, from Jerusalem, who fought in the 8219th Engineering Battalion, also fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip. Yakir was an athlete, cyclist and communal volunteer who had raised money for children with disabilities.
Hechster, from the same unit as Schwartz, was also his chavruta in yeshiva. The two fell together in the same incident – “In life they were loved and admired, and in death they were not parted.” (Shemuel II:1:23)

– Sergeant first class (res.) Gavriel Bloom, 27, from Ramat Beit Shemesh, fell in battle in the central Gaza Strip. Bloom was the son of David and Jennifer Bloom, who have lived in Ramat Bet Shemesh since it was founded. A fellow fighter described David as “a born leader, sharp, professional and strong, doing what is necessary and more.”

These are the cream of the crop of Klal Yisrael, particularly those who elevate the Bein Adam l’Makom of learning Torah along with the Bein Adam l’Chaveiro of protecting the Am Hashem haYoshev b’Tziyon.
There will never be peace there, ergo there will never be a Palestinian state because the Arab states don’t want one, and the Palestinians don’t want one. If they have a state they’re going to have to behave like civilized people and and join the family of nations. That will never happen because Mahmood Abbas is as much of a savage as Yahyeh Sinwar. The only difference between them is that Abbas wears a suit.
