JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu released a video statement on Wednesday evening in which he stressed that Israel is fully complying with international law in the war against Hamas in Gaza.

“I want to make a few points absolutely clear: Israel has no intention of permanently occupying Gaza or displacing its civilian population,” he stated.

“Israel is fighting Hamas terrorists, not the Palestinian population, and we are doing so in full compliance with international law. The IDF is doing its utmost to minimize civilian casualties, while Hamas is doing its utmost to maximize them by using Palestinian civilians as human shields,” added Netanyahu.

“The IDF urges Palestinian civilians to leave war zones by disseminating leaflets, making phone calls, providing safe passage corridors, while Hamas prevents Palestinians from leaving at gunpoint and often, with gunfire,” said the Prime Minister.

“Our goal is to rid Gaza of Hamas terrorists and free our hostages. Once this is achieved Gaza can be demilitarized and deradicalized, thereby creating a possibility for a better future for Israel and Palestinians alike,” he concluded.

Netanyahu’s statements come on the eve of a tribunal at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, which is scheduled to convene Thursday to hear South Africa’s genocide case against Israel.

Israel is being represented by renowned jurist Malcolm Shaw, a leading expert on territorial disputes and a published author on the law of genocide.

Former Supreme Court President Aharon Barak has been selected as the Israeli-appointed judge to sit on the panel of judges at the hearing.

The South African delegation will present its claims on Thursday, while Israel will be allowed to rebut the claims on Friday.

Right-wing MKs fumed at Netanyahu’s remarks. Likud MK Tali Gottlieb said that this is “not the way to topple Hamas”. Others mentioned that Netanyahu himself had said at a cabinet meeting two weeks ago that Israel is working to encourage Gazan citizens to emigrate and is trying to locate countries willing to accept them.

Eventually, Netanyahu, with all due respect and credit for what he has done, will be replaced by a generation of younger people who understand that God and not America is in control the world. As Rabbi Kahana used to say: “the destiny of Am Yisroel is to return to its land, to build and remove all those that try to undermine their return, we have 2 choices, either to “cooperate” with God, which will make our lives better or to be in the “opposition” and make it difficult for us, but Gods plan will not be derailed”

The government in Eretz Yisroel is too worried about upsetting the U.S. so it is following the terrible ideas of the U.S. government. This is why the pogrom of October 7 occurred- because the government would not attack Hamas before it acted because the government of Eretz Yisroel was too worried about looking like the ‘bad guy’. Now it looks like the ‘bad guy’ to a lot of people anyway. Stop worrying about what the U.S. wants and do what is needed to help Israelis feel secure.

I think we all agree that the intention is to not occupy Gaza permanently the key being permanently. The goal is to rehabilitate Gaza and yank those Palestinians out of that cult. There are no innocent Palestinian civilians and they are all full of hate and violence. The goal is to change the entire society. That may take 30 years though.

Make your choice. Stay in Gaza forever by annexation, or leave it eventually. I am simply please Bibi is starting to form some sort of plan.

Netanyahu the Bal Gava is all about politics to extend his career as long as possible. What started out being a war against Hamas is by now all about revenge. We know that Hamas cares nothing about Palestinian civilians and they hide amongst them. But the fact is that Israel is killing civilians by the thousands. The entire world on Oct 7 and after were all pro-Israel and sympathized with them. But by now they all turned against them seeing all those pictures coming out from Gaza.As many there are killed there are thousands of Arabs in the waiting to repeat C’V and Oct 7. Anti- Semitism SINCE the holocausts was never as high as it is now.
