SOUTHERN ISRAEL (VINnews) — Family members of hostages held captive by Hamas gathered near the Gaza border on Thursday, using powerful loudspeakers to communicate with their loved ones.

At Kibbutz Nirim, relatives took turns speaking over the giant sound system using speakers hoisted by cranes, hoping to be heard by family members “deep in the Hamas tunnels.”
Emotional footage (below) shows the heart-wrenching images of parents and other relatives in despair, expressing their deepest love and support for loved ones over the speakers, hoping that they can somehow be heard.
It was a truly heartbreaking scene.
“Romi, my Romi, we miss you terribly, but we are strong. Don’t lose hope. We are turning the world upside down to bring you back,” Merav Leshem Gonen, the mother of Romi Gonen, called out. “We can’t believe it’s almost Day 100. Stay strong, it’s almost over.
“I was so sure you would come back the same week,” she said in tears. “I love you, my beautiful daughter.”
“Omer Shem-Tov, Omer Shem-Tov, this is your father,” said Malachi Shem-Tov. “I hope you hear us Omer, be strong. I know you’re strong, I know your faith keeps you strong. Everyone at home is waiting for you.”
“Soon, just a little bit longer,” he said.
Sunday will mark 100 days since the devastating, horrific Hamas massacre. While 105 hostages were freed under a cease-fire in November, over 130 remain in Gaza, although tragically not all of them remain alive.
I hope the IDF will provide feedback to the family members informing them whether they could be heard from a few miles away.
What an awful way to treat these poor families.
The saddesr part is most of these people were peaceniks. they are learning a very brutal and harsh lesson of what supporting Arabs will get you
