(VINnews) — Democrat Senator John Fetterman has again shown his unwavering support for Israel. Fetterman, a rare staunch leftist who supports Israel, apparently mocked protesters outside of his building.

Pro-Hamas demonstrators showed up outside the Pennsylvania Senator’s apartment building to protest his steadfast commitment to Israel — and someone who appeared to be Fetterman was on the roof, tirelessly waving a large Israeli flag.

The protesters were chanting “You can’t hide, we accuse you of genocide. ”It has not been confirmed that the senator was the one waving the flag.
Fetterman has confronted and ridiculed anti-Israel protesters in the past, with protesters showing up outside of his office and fellow Democrats criticizing his pro-Israel stance. In November, Fetterman waved an Israel flag as he walked past a ceasefire protest in which demonstrators were being handcuffed.
The senator pledged to stand with Israel even as the issue divides the Democratic Party.
“I would be the last man standing to be absolutely there on the Israeli side on this with no conditions,” said Fetterman in December.
Joel Petlin, a journalist and Superintendent of the Kiryas Joel school district, observed the contrast between Fetterman and another progressive, politician Brad Lander, who is Jewish, yet hangs out with Hamas supporters.
Petlin tweeted, “Last night, while NY City Comptroller Brad Lander was having “Shabbat dinner” at a “River to the Sea” restaurant & embracing Hamas supporters, Senator Fetterman was responding to protesters at his home by waving an Israeli flag.”
He added, “Quite a contrast between two progressive democrats”

I’m no fan of his because he’s a little too much left for me however, since his stroke etc as crazy as he is, he’s more center than we thought. Maybe the stroke just knocked some sense into him.
