JERUSALEM (VINnews) — IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari released classified tape conversations of UNRWA workers who were both present and proudly recounted their participation in the Oct. 7th massacres of Hamas. Hagari said that over 450 of UNRWA’s employees are also military operatives in terrorist groups. Hagari stressed that “this is no mere coincidence, this is systematic.”

Hagari brought the testimony of a UNRWA schoolteacher, Yusuf Zidan Suleiman Hawajra, bragging that he has a “sabaya” , which is a pejorative term in Islam for female captives who become the possession of their captors. Sabaya is the same word used by ISIS to describe their Yazidi captives – in other words the same ideology is being used by Hamas terrorists regarding their captives.
In other testimony from another UNRWA teacher, Hagari shows how he bragged that “they shot them in the eyes”, meaning that he was present during the massacres. Hagari said that as a father of two girls he “trembled” when he heard this chilling recording. He concludes that “Hamas exploits humanitarian groups and uses them to commit crimes against humanity.”
Israel has claimed since the outset of the war that UNRWA is heavily involved in terrorist activities, with all of its facilities being used as cover for terror infrastructure and even for holding captives. In the meantime 16 countries have stopped funding to the organization.
In response to Israel’s claims, UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said during a press conference on Monday that “I have never received the slightest concern about the staff that we are employing.”
