Brigadier-General Amit Sa’ar, head of the research division of the Intelligence Branch of the IDF, revealed to KAN News that the letter was intended to be sent to the Prime Minister and members of the national security cabinet after Simchas Torah.
Sa’ar says that the letter warned that Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah recognized an opportunity to attack Israel, due to the internal conflict in Israel, as well as a lack of readiness by the IDF.
These warnings were written before October 7th and reached the head of the Intelligence Corps and the Chief of Staff, who approved the delivery of the letter to the Prime Minister, but the massacre took place before the letter could be sent.
According to a Maariv report, the Intelligence Directorate had previously sent four similar letters to senior IDF officials in 2023 but the letters were not shared with the prime minister or senior political officials.
The fact that the head of Army sent a letter via chief of staff to PM Netanyahu is hard to believe, as this is so primitive.
Are there no electronic ways to reach the heads of the government, in order to warn them???? Or is an attack by enemies not important??
I guess Israeli bureaucracy is worse than we thought is mossad Shabak allure gone?
Right. Sure. Wonder if we’ll ever get even part of the real story here.
Fake news, just so people shouldn’t blame Bibi for choosing to allow this.
If head of Army knew about this why weren’t there any addition units by the border just in case?
Try encrypted email, it’s faster. Where you been since 1996?
so Bibi is not top culprit, rather the anarchist leftist protesting IDF commanders.
One way or another, the Zionists needed this to happen so they could take the fight to the savages in Gaza.
