Tens of terrorists mourn at funerals of eliminated terrorists. It is unclear why the IDF doesn’t target the funerals, which include dangerous incitement
Combat engineers also destroyed a vehicle containing several primed explosive devices during the raid, which began overnight and continued into the morning.
Two suspects in the car were detained by troops before it was blown up. Combat engineers also uncovered roadside explosives in the city and blew them up.
Last week, the IDF also raided Jenin, killing eight terrorists. One of those killed in a targeted air strike was identified as Ahmed Barakat, the commander of the Jenin Battalion, who was responsible for perpetrating the terrorist attack that killed Meir Tamari last year.
Muhammad Hawashin, a senior commander in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad responsible for the organization’s infrastructure in the Jenin area, also died in the attack
Similar raids in July, November and January also led to battles and numerous terrorist losses. The city continues to be a hotbed of Hamas terrorist activity, and the PA cannot control or curb the terrorism in the region.
